What do I need to use ResetPls?
A Mac running macOS 15 or later, or an iPhone running iOS 18 or later, and a Claude or ChatGPT account compatible with the limits shown by the app. You can connect either provider or both.
How do I connect my accounts?
Sign in to each provider from ResetPls. Each device connects independently, so your iPhone does not need your Mac to be switched on. You do not need the Claude or Codex desktop apps to check your limits.
Why is it free on Mac and paid on iPhone?
The Mac app is free and open source. Buying the iPhone app helps fund the development and maintenance of the project.
What happens to my data?
ResetPls requests your limits directly from the provider. Credentials stay in your device’s Keychain. We do not send your conversations, credentials, or usage history to the project maintainers. On Mac, you can allow read-only access to local counters for usage history.
Is this an official Claude or Codex app?
No. ResetPls is an independent project, unaffiliated with Anthropic or OpenAI.
